According to a new report from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the fashion industry's current "take-make-dispose" system creates greenhouse gas emissions of 1.2 billion tonnes a year—that's "more than those of all international flights and maritime shipping combined." Click here to read more.

If it was not reported by Ellen MacArthur Foundation, I am sure that we would still choose not to care about the recent news behind fashion industry. Of course, this is pretty alarming as they produce a lot of waste where they could do something better than disposing it in the first place. There must be a solution for this because there’s a higher chance that the problem might get bigger if we will just leave it that way! It’s about time we make several actions! Leave a Reply. |
